Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga, also called Thai Bodywork and Thai Massage, as I have received it, is the Northern Thai tradition, a flowing dance of yoga postures, in which the receiver rests passively on a floor mat while the giver flows them through a range of motions.  Soft to firm pressure applied along energy meridiens called Sen lines aid in releasing stagnant energy and balancing all the systems of the body.  I am grateful to have received my training from Jennifer Yarro of Triple Gem School at Frog Lotus Studios, in 2009 and again in 2010.

*Friday Weekly Cosmic Thai classes: 7-8pm, after my AcroYoga Basics 6-7pm at Cosmic Fit Club.  Open level, no partner needed.

*Thai Yoga Bodywork is one half of my Restorative teacher training weekends, Level 3 and Level 4. The other half is Yoga Nidra meditation training. These two practices both enrich Restorative Yoga. If you wish to attend L3 and L4 of Mother Mary Restorative Teacher Training 2019, email me for a conversation about whether it would be suited to your desires.

*On May 22-25, 2020, at Pure Yoga West, I co-host a 30-hour NYC Lunar Immersion: therapeutic flying and Thai yoga, Friday to Monday over the holiday weekend. No previous experience is required; just a willingness to learn and support, nurture and be nurtured. Early bird is April 22; some 3-day, 2-day and 1-day and half-day options.

*Monthly Thai bodywork workshops at Om Factory in NYC are often taught by me, or else by other Thai trained teachers from the AcroYoga and other lineages.

*Thai sessions are available by appointment in your home, my home, or as a private yoga hour at the beautiful Pure Yoga studios, by arrangement.

*A led duet class by arrangement. A great date or a special occasion to remember!

*Led Thai class for groups of 4-20.  Enhance compassion and listening skills ~ and everyone gets a yummy massage!  A transformative, nurturing, experience.  Rates vary by group size and organization.
